Alcohol Monitor

BEST Crowd Management, a Garda World company, is hiring Alcohol Monitors to support safe, enjoyable experiences at major stadiums, arenas, and event venues. In this role, you will observe guest areas for alcohol-related issues, check IDs, enforce venue and state alcohol policies, and promptly report concerns to supervisors. You will interact with guests in a professional, courteous manner while following safety and security procedures.

Working as part of a trained event team, you'll gain hands-on experience in crowd management, security, and customer service with opportunities to grow within a leading event security organization.

Responsibilities

• Monitor guest areas for alcohol-related issues and unsafe behavior
• Check IDs to verify legal drinking age per venue and state requirements
• Enforce venue, team, and state alcohol policies consistently and fairly
• Observe and report incidents, disturbances, or policy violations to supervisors
• Document basic incident details according to company and venue procedures
• Communicate via radio or other devices with security and event staff
• Provide professional, courteous customer service to guests and staff
• Assist with crowd flow and access control in alcohol service areas
• Follow all safety, security, and emergency response procedures
• Attend required trainings and briefings before events
