Fiber Splicer

Overview

Windwave Communications is hiring for a Fiber Splicer. The Fiber Splicer assists with cable installation activities including pathway construction, rough-in, routing, telecom room build-out, cable terminations, labeling, and grounding.

• Assist team with installation activities.
• Organize materials, tools, and equipment.
• Proactively maintain job site organization and basic housekeeping.
• Ensure hazardous conditions are promptly addressed.
• Maintain satisfactory compliance with customers' security requirements.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Must be able to pass drug screening and background check.

• Ability to listen and follow directions.
• Self-motivated and have an excellent work ethic.
• Team player.

The standard work environment is indoors with minimal outdoor work in a construction environment. The noise level is usually moderate. The employee must regularly sit, talk or hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and may climb ladders up to 20 feet.
