Join a reputable local residential contractor as a Framing and Siding Carpenter in Eugene, Oregon, and make a positive impact every day. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in delivering high-quality, precise work while supporting diverse remodels and residential projects. What You'll Do As a Carpenter for framing and siding, you will be responsible for:

• Read and interpret complex construction blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine exact specifications
• Accurately measure, cut, and shape framing lumber and other materials using both hand and power tools. Construct and assemble floor beams, subflooring, wall partitions, and roof trusses.
• Removing old or damaged siding and installing moisture barriers (house wrap/tar paper)
• Installing, leveling, and securing siding panels, soffit, fascia, and trim using power tools and fasteners
• Sealing joints, gaps, and edges with caulking or flashing to prevent air and water infiltration
• Maintaining a safe work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures
• Collaborating effectively with team members to ensure project timelines are met and quality standards are upheld

What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• 2 to 5+ years in residential or commercial exterior remodeling/construction
• Proficiency with common construction tools and equipment
• A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stay active throughout the workday, and work comfortably outdoors and indoors
• Prior experience in general construction is preferred
