Carpenter
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Concrete Carpenters for projects located in or around Salem, OR. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $28-$35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and metal form-work
- Setting anchor bolts, embeds, and reinforcing materials
- Building, installing, and removing concrete forms for foundations, walls, columns, sidewalks, and other structures
- Placing, leveling and finishing concrete
- Ensure forms are aligned and properly braced prior to concrete placement
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and construction plans
- Operating hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- Must have at least 2+ years of concrete carpentry experience
- Must have experience in commercial, industrial, civil, or residential concrete work
- Must be able to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Must have knowledge of forming systems and layout techniques
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work
- Must have reliable transportation and strong attendance
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- OSHA 10 certification is preferred but not required
