Second Shift, 2:30pm start time
No weekends
The normal setting for this job is a repair / maintenance shop at our Arlington, OR site.
Responsibilities- Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
- Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.
- Perform work within our Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
- Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
- Conduct safety checks on vehicles.
- Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage and accounting for repair times.
- Assist Diesel Mechanics in the completion of project work.
- Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards and perform work in accordance with established safety procedures.
- 4 years of heavy‑duty truck experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Be over 18 years of age.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Successfully complete and pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical.

Required to exert physical effort that will include but is not limited to frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing;
Constantly standing, walking, and grasping;
Occasionally: sitting and balancing.
Required to be exposed to physical occupational risks (such as cuts, burns, exposure to toxic chemicals, etc.) often.
Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements often.
This job operates in both inside garage, shop or gas plant conditions as well as in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity.
