Job Title

Vos missions en quelques mots

Under the hierarchical authority of the Service Manager, you are responsible for:

• The execution of routine maintenance work to maintain the quality of the road infrastructure to ensure users have defined safety and comfort conditions;
• The implementation of road infrastructure operations to ensure safe travel and optimize the use of the network.

Activities and tasks:

• Patrol and diagnose major road degradations;
• Installation and removal of temporary signage for construction sites and hazards on the road;
• Performance of routine maintenance work on the road surface;
• Performance of routine maintenance work on road infrastructure equipment;
• Maintenance of roadside areas;
• Surveillance and routine maintenance of bridges and other structures.

Positioning with other services or external departments:

• Various contractors and companies;
• The public.

Workload:
Full-time.

Special working conditions:

• Frequent travel (site visits and to the public);
• Possible irregular or staggered hours with variable amplitude depending on service obligations;
• Availability for emergency planning.

Special job-related constraints:

• Work in traffic;
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions;
• High physical strain;
• Aggressive physical environment;
• Mandatory wearing of safety clothing.

Conditions of access:

• Required diploma or title: CAP or BEP.

Professional skills:

• Knowledge of road infrastructure malfunctions and degradations;
• Corrective works for road degradation;
• Road and urban resurfacing works;
• Driving of vehicles or construction equipment;
• Maintenance of network devices;
• Knowledge of hygiene, health, and workplace safety rules;
• Knowledge of equipment and materials.
