Heavy Duty Field Service Technician

Coburg, OR

Field mechanics repair, diagnose, inspect and maintain forestry and other earth‑moving equipment, primarily servicing rentals and customer‑owned equipment. The role requires 3‑5 years of experience in electrical, hydraulics, computer‑controlled systems, drivetrain, and engines. Must communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and vendors; drive a company vehicle; be on call; lift up to 50 lb; and may be considered from all certification levels.

• Competent with laptop computer and scan tools for diagnostic troubleshooting
• Self‑motivated and able to complete tasks without direct supervision
• Safe work habits with a “can do” attitude

• Ability to read schematics (electrical and hydraulic)
• Knowledgeable in troubleshooting various heavy equipment product lines
• Have own hand tools up to 1 ½ inch
• Perform thorough and accurate annual inspections
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Pass drug screen
• Valid Oregon driver’s license; CDL endorsement required

• Factory, vocational, or mechanical training
• Experience with various heavy equipment, especially excavators and forestry equipment

$32.00 to $43.00 per hour.
