Job Summary:

Completes troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance on chassis products in a service workshop independently while coaching and developing less experienced technicians

Completepreventativemaintenanceandinspectionsonchassiscomponentstoensureequipmentreliabilityandperformance.
Utilizeelectronicdiagnostictools,service manuals,andothertechnicalresourcestoaccuratelyidentifyandresolveissues.
Completeservicedocumentation,work orders,warranty claims,andrepairrecordsaccuratelyandtimely.
Coachandsupportjuniortechniciansandapprenticesbysharingtechnicalknowledgeandbestpractices.
Maintainaclean,safe,andorganizedworkarea,tools,and equipment.
Adhereto Cummins Health ,Safety&Environmentalpoliciesandprocedureswhilepromotingastrongsafetyculture.
Participateinongoingtraininganddevelopmenttomaintainandexpandtechnicalskills.

In order to be succesful in this role you will need the following:

Advancedknowledgeandexperiencewithchassissystems,diagnostics,repair,and maintenance.
Abilitytoperformcomplextroubleshootingandrepairsusingelectronicservicetoolsanddiagnosticsoftware.
Strongunderstandingofelectrical,mechanical,fuel,cooling,exhaust,aftertreatment,driveline,andcontrolsystems.
Experiencedocumentingrepairs,diagnostics,andmaintenanceactivitiesinservicemanagementsystems.
Abilitytoprovideguidance,coaching,andtechnicalsupporttolessexperiencedtechnicians.
Strong communication,customer service,andteamworkskills.
Commitmenttosafety,quality,andcontinuousimprovement.
Vocationaldiplomafromarelevanttechnicalinstitutionpreferred.
Valid driver'slicenserequired.
CDLmayberequireduponhire.

Federal law requires C drolder to be at least 21 years of age or older.
Apprentice Trained Techniciancertificationpreferred .

Work well in a team environment,

A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire
Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older

Education, Licenses,

Certifications:

Apprentice Trained Technician (Preferred).

Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution.

Locally valid driving permit

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Advanced level knowledge of and/or experience with chassis products

Experience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians (preferred)

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
