Shop Mechanic

Papé Machinery, a leader in agricultural and turf equipment, is seeking a dedicated Shop Mechanic to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a variety of John Deere equipment, ensuring our machinery operates at peak performance for our customers. As a Shop Mechanic, you will be instrumental in troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing agricultural equipment, using your skills to support the operational efficiency and technological advancement of our machinery offerings.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair various agricultural machinery and equipment, particularly John Deere models.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and adjustments on equipment for optimal performance.
• Collaborate with the parts department to secure necessary components.
• Document service and repair processes and maintain up-to-date service records.
• Adhere to workplace safety policies and practices.
• Assist in training junior mechanics and support staff.
