Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Roofer role based in Hubbard, OR. The Roofer will install, repair, and maintain various roof systems, ensuring proper ventilation, insulation, and waterproofing according to company standards and building codes. Daily tasks include measuring and cutting materials, performing carpentry work related to roof structures, applying roofing and waterproofing materials, and inspecting completed work for quality and safety.
The role involves working at height on ladders, scaffolding, and roof surfaces, handling tools and equipment safely, and collaborating with other crew members to complete projects efficiently. The Roofer is expected to follow all safety procedures, maintain a clean work area, and provide professional service to customers on-site.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Carpentry and Roofs for framing, roof system installation, and structural repairs.
- Candidates should possess skills in Insulation and Waterproofing for proper attic ventilation, moisture control, and leak prevention.
- Candidates should possess skills in Working at Height for safely operating on ladders, scaffolding, and sloped roofs.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools, and ability to read measurements and follow technical instructions.
- Commitment to safety practices, including use of personal protective equipment and adherence to OSHA guidelines.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting materials, climbing, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Previous roofing or construction experience is preferred; relevant training or certifications in roofing or safety are a plus.
- Reliable transportation to the Hubbard, OR job site and ability to work standard full-time construction hours.
