About the Role:

Outdoor Office Next is looking for a talented and experienced Skilled Lead Carpenter to join our team in Gervais, OR! This is an exciting opportunity to take a leadership role in the construction and assembly of prefabricated buildings, working alongside a dedicated crew to deliver high-quality results. If you're a seasoned carpenter ready to lead and make an impact, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee carpentry work during the construction and assembly of prefabricated buildings
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide project execution
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install structural and finish components including framing, panels, and trim
  • Coordinate with crew members to ensure efficient workflow and on-time project completion
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and structural integrity are met
  • Maintain a safe and organized job site in compliance with OSHA and company safety guidelines
  • Mentor and guide junior carpenters and apprentices on best practices and techniques
  • Identify and resolve construction issues or discrepancies in the field
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of carpentry experience, with at least 1-2 years in a lead or supervisory role
  • Experience with prefabricated, modular, or manufactured building construction preferred
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and construction specifications
  • Strong knowledge of framing, structural carpentry, and finish work techniques
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and related carpentry equipment safely
  • Solid understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and OSHA standards

    Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable transportation to job site in Gervais, OR
