Outdoor Office Next is looking for a talented and experienced Skilled Lead Carpenter to join our team in Gervais, OR! This is an exciting opportunity to take a leadership role in the construction and assembly of prefabricated buildings, working alongside a dedicated crew to deliver high-quality results. Responsibilities:- Lead and oversee carpentry work during the construction and assembly of prefabricated buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide project execution
- Measure, cut, fit, and install structural and finish components including framing, panels, and trim
- Coordinate with crew members to ensure efficient workflow and on-time project completion
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and structural integrity are met
- Maintain a safe and organized job site in compliance with OSHA and company safety guidelines
- Mentor and guide junior carpenters and apprentices on best practices and techniques
- Identify and resolve construction issues or discrepancies in the field
- 5+ years of carpentry experience, with at least 1-2 years in a lead or supervisory role
- Experience with prefabricated, modular, or manufactured building construction preferred
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and construction specifications
- Strong knowledge of framing, structural carpentry, and finish work techniques
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and related carpentry equipment safely
- Solid understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and OSHA standards
