Malheur County is seeking a dedicated Victim Advocate to assist victims of crime through the Victim Assistance Program. This position requires working under the supervision of the Director of Victim Services and entails a rotating 24-hour on-call shift. Responsibilities include advising victims of their rights, accompanying them to court, and referring them to necessary support services.
Candidates should be a high school graduate with relevant coursework preferred. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Strong communication and empathy skills are essential for this role.
