Aggregates Scale Person

Position: AGGREGATES SCALE PERSON
Location: Brightwood

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

* Operate truck scales through computer terminal

* Fielding in-bound calls and providing a high level of customer service for visitors in the scale house

* Ensure tickets have accurate address and project information for accounting

* Collect and reconcile daily cash sales (credit card processing, etc.)

* Process and distribute accurate end of business day paperwork

* Assist dispatch as needed

* Troubleshoot issues with ticket printers

* Provide accurate State, County, or City Scaling reports for 3rd party customers as needed

* Assist with scale coverage of Portland Metro Knife River locations both remote and in person as needed

* Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed

* Other duties assigned as needed

Typical Hours 6:30 am
-4:00 pm, role requires weekend or night work as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Aptitude for dealing with customers, sales, and problem solving

* Ability to operate a computer terminal and manage multiple tasks at the same time

* Professional verbal and written communication skills

* Must be people oriented, able to provide exceptional customer service to a wide variety of personality types

* Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record

* Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug test
