Position Overview
Eco Shuttle is Portland’s leading full-service sustainable transportation provider. We seek full‑time, part‑time and seasonal drivers for route, charter, special events, corporate and school activities.

Responsibilities- Operate a CDL Class B or higher bus with passenger and air‑brake endorsements.
- Drive safely, follow traffic and weather conditions, and comply with FMCSA requirements.
- Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
- Pre‑plan routes and map assignments for charter services.
- Maintain accurate log book and driver trip sheets for each shift.
- Keep the vehicle interior neat and fuel/spot clean debris after each shift.
- Notify dispatch of potential problems and report accidents or safety situations.
- Deliver excellent customer service, problem‑solve, listen, and exhibit patience.
- Manage stressful situations involving weather, traffic, or unsatisfied customers.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety rules and regulations.
- Perform other related duties as requested.
- Class B CDL or higher with passenger and air‑brake restrictions removed.
- Current and valid medical card.
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience, including bus driving.
- Clean driving record and recent MVR available at interview.
- Pass DOT pre‑employment drug screen.
- Excellent customer service skills and problem‑solving ability.
- Professional appearance and exemplary attitude toward guests, customers, and co‑workers.
- Reliable punctuality and ability to work a flexible schedule including late nights, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
- Team‑player attitude and willingness to follow policies.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- SPAB or School Bus certification.
- Knowledge of the Portland Metro area.
