Job Title:

Substitute Bus Driver

Position Overview:

Transport pupils to and from school or school related events.

Essential Job Functions:

• Transports pupils in the safest manner possible.
• Enforces bus safety rules.
• Keeps up-to-date on required regulations.
• Keeps bus clean.
• Inspects bus for safety and reports needed repairs.

Job Functions:

• Have a genuine interest in children.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of:

• Current driving laws and regulations

Ability to:

• Follow oral and written instructions.
• Maintain composure in stressful situations.
• Be well groomed and maintain an appropriate appearance.

Experience:

• Prefer experience with driving a bus or large vehicles

License:

• Current Oregon CDL

Physical Requirements:

In an eight-hour day, employee may

• Stand/Walk 5-6 Hours
• Drive 1-2 Hours
• Sit 3-4 Hours
• Stoop/Squat/Bend 1-2 Hours
• Lift/Carry 1-2 Hours Up to a weight of 50 lbs
• Climb Stairs Occasionally
• Use hands for repetitive motions Frequently
• Use feet for repetitive movements Frequently
