Addison Group is partnering with a growing logistics and supply chain organization seeking an experienced Operations Team Lead to support daily warehouse and distribution activities. This opportunity is ideal for someone with prior warehouse leadership experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment focused on safety, productivity, and operational excellence.

The Operations Team Lead will support shipping, receiving, inventory movement, and team coordination while assisting with training and day-to-day workflow management across the warehouse floor.

Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1+ year of experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations required
  • Prior forklift or material handling equipment (MHE) experience required
  • Forklift certification or previous MHE certification preferred
  • Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures
  • Basic computer skills including RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision

    Prior experience mentoring or training warehouse associates preferred
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee daily shipping, receiving, picking, and staging activities
  • Support inbound and outbound shipment processing while ensuring accuracy and productivity
  • Train and mentor warehouse associates on operational procedures and safety standards
  • Assist with forklift training and equipment operation certifications
  • Monitor product quality, investigate discrepancies, and report operational issues
  • Ensure compliance with warehouse safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company policies
  • Assist with labor scheduling, productivity tracking, and workflow coordination
  • Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and related MHE
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and equipment upkeep
  • Support inventory control and quality assurance activities as needed
  • Perform additional operational and administrative duties as assigned
