Duties
Help
- Spot conveyance at proper loading locations; opens seals and doors; tallies in stock; palletizes; assembles in temporary warehousing area.
- Receive stock from assembly area or direct movement of stock from various warehouses, determining appropriate hold locations for assembling shipping items.
- Pack, unpack, sort, stack warehouses, bins, and move items; makes in-storage checks for obvious need for maintenance, vermin control, and damage, reporting findings and serious damages to supervisor for action.
- Determine whether materials are durable, expendable, or non-expendable and identifies property items that require bar coding under the automated inventory system.
