Shipping and Receiving

Selmet is seeking a Shipping and Receiving specialist to support aerospace titanium casting operations at our Springfield, OR facility. In this role, you will receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials; prepare and package outbound aerospace components; and maintain accurate inventory and shipping records. You'll use forklifts, pallet jacks, and ERP or warehouse systems to move and track parts while following strict safety, quality, and documentation standards.

Working closely with production, quality, and logistics teams, you'll help ensure on-time delivery, proper material handling, and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and components against purchase orders and packing slips
• Prepare, package, label, and stage outbound shipments per customer and carrier requirements
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment safely
• Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP or warehouse management systems
• Ensure proper storage, identification, and traceability of aerospace components
• Coordinate with production, quality, and logistics teams to meet shipping schedules
• Complete and file shipping, receiving, and regulatory documentation accurately

• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
• Identify and communicate damaged, nonconforming, or missing materials
