Responsibilities
  • Assist in coding all unpaid non-purchase order invoices with designated General Ledger numbers.
  • Assist in entering unpaid and approved invoices into HIS accounts payable module.
  • Assist with the weekly check runs. Performs the daily deposits in a back-up capacity as needed.
  • Process weekly check run of approved invoices for all accounts including Umpqua and CPS on a backup basis.
  • Assist with vendor statement audits for missing or unpaid invoices.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of year end 1099 forms to all current and former vendors.
  • On a weekly basis, complete filing of all invoices.
  • Cross‑trained and able to produce a full payroll run at least once every quarter.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the overall effectiveness of the department and organizational performance in accordance with Curry Health Network’s Mission, Vision and Shared Values.

Minimum

Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Associate or better in Accounting or related field.
  • Three (3) years of Accounts Payable experience is preferred.
  • 3 years:
    Experience in Payroll.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Ability to use personal computer for word processing, data entry, and automated time systems; experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy regarding time and organizational management. Requires multi‑tasking and the ability to handle stress in a fast‑paced working environment.
  • Ability to foster and maintain positive working relationships with staff and management.
