CPA Thoughtful, Technical, and Team-Oriented

At Apex Accounting Chartered Professional Accountants, we’re looking for a CPA, or someone who has recently written the CFE and is awaiting results, who’s ready to take the next step in their career. You’ll lead a range of client engagements from compilations and reviews to audits and advanced tax filings (including estates and trusts). You’ll manage files from start to finish, prepare budgets, and ensure work meets professional standards.

You’ll also be a go‑to resource for clients on everyday tax matters answering questions, offering guidance, and helping them understand their obligations with clarity and confidence. Whether it’s explaining a deduction or navigating a filing issue, your ability to communicate clearly and accurately will make a real difference.

Mentorship is a key part of this role. You’ll support junior staff by sharing knowledge, offering feedback, and helping them grow in their technical skills and confidence. Whether you’re reviewing a file or answering a question, your support will help shape the next generation of professionals.

We’re looking for someone who brings more than just technical expertise. You’re someone who:

• CPA designation (or CFE attempt completed)
• 2–5 years of public practice experience
• Strong technical skills in financial reporting and tax
• A thoughtful, grounded approach to client service and teamwork
