Lincoln County Behavioral Health is looking for a Support Services Specialist to provide public facing customer service as well as performing a wide variety of clerical duties; preparing, retrieving and distributing clinic information to staff, clients and public.
$22.45 - $23.81 per hour*
* Lincoln County follows Oregon Pay Equity laws in reviewing education and experience for wage offer.

- Perform general office and clerical tasks.
- Perform data entry, word processing, and spreadsheet functions.
- Input data, prepares letters, reports, correspondence.
- Design and maintain forms.
- Perform basic office administrative tasks to support the department.
- Daily mail pick-up, drop-off, and distribution.
- Order and distribute office supplies.
- Accept payments over the phone and in person.
- Manage cash drawer bags and deposits.
- Receipt fees and prepare daily accounting report.
- Perform insurance validation.
- Assess situations of emergency and non-emergency nature.
- Serve as receptionist / front office support.
- Schedule appointments and maintain schedules.
- Answers the phone/transfers calls/manage multi-line system.
- Takes messages and relays to appropriate staff.
- Maintain records and files.
- Contact agencies for records.
- Use electronic system to enter, edit, and retrieve client information.
- Pull simple reports from system.
- Keep statistical information and generate reports.
High School Diploma / GED, including or supplemented by courses in typing, and computer entry.
ExperienceTwo years of clerical experience of a progressively responsible nature.
Knowledge- Secretarial and clerical office practices and procedures.
- Record keeping and reporting. Basic knowledge of bookkeeping principles.
