Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Operations Specialist to support a community-based energy-efficiency program. This program works with community-based organizations across Oregon that help facilitate energy upgrades enhancing affordability, comfort and safety of homes. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for community-based organizations, providing guidance on residential energy efficiency program requirements and supporting clear, consistent communication across teams.
Reside in Oregon required.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with community partners, contractors, customers, and cross-functional internal teams.
- Serve as a trusted resource by clearly explaining program requirements, processes, and expectations to partners.
- Support partners in navigating applications and program requirements, ensuring a smooth and successful experience.
- Apply program rules and eligibility criteria consistently while exercising sound judgment within defined guidelines.
- Demonstrate great attention to detail and have experience with complex data entry.
- Communicate clearly and professionally—both written and verbally—when responding to questions, providing guidance, or resolving issues.
- Identify trends, recurring questions, or potential compliance concerns and collaborate with internal teams to address them proactively.
- Support the program exception process by gathering information, coordinating with stakeholders, and communicating outcomes.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and responsiveness.
- Document partner interactions, decisions, and guidance to ensure transparency and continuity across teams.
- Strong organizational skills and a customer-service mindset.
- Commitment to advancing equitable access to energy efficiency programs.
- Experience with complex data entry and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting partners or clients in program or compliance contexts is preferred.
Target Compensation: $60,000. Compensation Range: $48,800.00 - $66,300.00. Salary type:
Salary. Currency: USD. Compensation determined based on internal equity, market data, applicant’s skills and relevant experience.
