Access Solutions is recruiting for an Indirect Procurement Specialist
. This experienced procurement professional will be responsible for executing processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement goals, including RFPs, negotiations, cost accountability, and/or program execution. Authorizes purchase orders, approves payments, and responds to client issues to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly.

This is a hybrid role of someone based out of Salem OR or Pittsford NY
.

• Execute processes, standards, and operational plans in support of procurement goals, i.e., RFPs, negotiations, cost accountability, and/or program execution
• Approve and qualify vendors to fulfill account needs
• Respond to client issues or problems
• Authorize purchase orders and approve payments to ensure a smooth procurement process
• Analyze and review price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to provide input on reasonable prices
• Prepare and review requests for proposals (RFP) and bid packages
• Analyze and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5 years plus experience in indirect or direct procurement

• Bachelor in finance, accounting, supply chain or business
• Attention to detail
• Negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Microsoft Office and procurement software i.e., Proactis
• English communication skills, both written and verbal
