Project Manager – Mass Timber | North West Oregon
We're partnering with a well-established and highly respected construction contractor to recruit an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Mass Timber construction
.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative contractor delivering complex projects across a range of sectors. The successful candidate will take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The Role:As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination and execution of commercial construction projects, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting and execution from pre-construction through close-out.
- Manage day-to-day project delivery, ensuring milestones, budgets and programme objectives are achieved.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and project teams to maintain productivity and project performance.
- Review drawings, specifications and contract documents to ensure project compliance.
- Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues to minimise delays and mitigate risk.
- Conduct regular site visits to oversee quality, safety and construction progress.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers and project stakeholders.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates.
- Drive quality assurance processes and ensure projects meet company and client expectations.
- Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Minimum 5 years' experience managing commercial construction projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience).
- Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, scheduling and project controls.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Proficiency with construction project management software and Microsoft Office.
