plumbing inspector

the township of east brunswick is accepting applications for a part-time and full-time plumbing inspector within the division of construction inspection. The successful candidate will perform a variety of duties to inspect building work on new and existing commercial, industrial and residential buildings and structures to enforce compliance with all building safety laws and codes.

considerable knowledge of the n.s.p.c. Code along with all state and local regulations that may apply. Must have a knowledge of computers. Must be able to read, write, communicate and understand english sufficiently to perform the duties of this position.

experience preferred, not required.

high school diploma.

valid nj driver’s license. Candidate must possess, at minimum, a plumbing inspector’s license, industrial and commercial structures (i.c.s.) issued by the state of new jersey.
