Adjunct Instructor – NCCER Basic Construction Fundamentals Instructor

DESCRIPTION:
Under the general supervision of the Industrial Technology and Environmental Program Manager, the NCCER Instructor will be responsible for conducting training sessions, administering performance evaluations and online evaluations within the basic construction skills area. Maintain the safety of the students as a priority. Continuously enhance technical instructional delivery and presentation skills. Completion and submission of any required documentation upon conclusion as required by the NCCER Accreditation Standard.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Be able to obtain an NCCER Certificate for Instruction in NCCER CORE, Basic Construction Skills. Experience at a minimum journey- or technician-level (at least 4 years) in the construction craft they wish to be certified to teach
OR
A minimum of three years’ experience as a certified teacher in a vocational/technical construction or maintenance-related training program in the specific craft they wish to be certified to teach.
Candidates should be able to work independently, be self-directing, have good verbal and written skills.
Team Player – ability to build and sustain credibility
SALARY:
Commensurate with education and experience.
