• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state standards and curriculum objectives.
• Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and promotes student participation.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to accommodate different learning styles.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through regular assignments, projects, and examinations.
• Provide timely feedback to students and communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
• Participate in professional development activities to stay current with educational best practices and science advancements.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and respectful learning environment.
• Organize and oversee science-related extracurricular activities, such as science fairs or clubs.
• Prepare and maintain necessary documentation, including lesson plans, student records, and reports.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, or a related field.
• Valid OKLAHOMA teaching certification for middle school science.
• Strong understanding of 8th-grade science curriculum and state educational standards.
• Previous teaching experience, preferably at the middle school level, is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Proficient in using technology and educational software to enhance learning.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
