Assistant Orchestra Teacher

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Assistant Teacher to join our Orchestra team at Bethany Middle School. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music, a desire to help students learn and grow in their musical abilities. • Assist the Orchestra Teacher in planning and implementing lessons and activities for students
• Work with individual students and small groups to provide support and guidance in their musical development
• Help maintain the Orchestra classroom and equipment, ensuring that all instruments are in good working order
• Assist with the organization and execution of concerts and other performances
• Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required

• Bachelor's degree in Music education or music major from a major university
• Experience working with middle school students in an educational setting
• Strong knowledge of music theory and performance techniques
• Ability to play multiple instruments, including stringed instruments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for concerts and performances
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
