- Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions for STIHL commercial teams, dealers, and channel partners
- Deliver brand-aligned instruction on product knowledge, sales strategies, and customer engagement
- Partner with instructional designers to enhance existing training programs based on real-time learner feedback
- Coach field representatives and trainers to elevate facilitation techniques and improve learning outcomes
- Assess learner performance and gather qualitative feedback to identify improvement opportunities
- Represent STIHL values and culture in every learning interaction
- Perform all other assigned duties and responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communication, Business, or related field
- Professional training certifications (e.g., ATD Master Trainer, CPTM) strongly preferred
- 5+ years in a training, facilitation, or coaching role in commercial, retail, or technical industries
- Experience training on products or systems with hands-on components
- Familiarity with STIHL’s product categories or dealer networks
- Proven success in delivering high-impact instruction to adult learners
- Up to 25% travel by air
- Strong facilitation and public speaking skills for technical and commercial audiences
- Familiarity with LMS platforms and classroom technologies
- Ability to adapt instructional techniques to suit diverse learner needs
- Basic proficiency with training software (PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
- Highly relational, strong interpersonal and coaching abilities
- Confident, energetic presence
- Live in or around Portland, OR or Seattle, WA, or be open to relocation
Demonstrates expertise in facilitating training sessions and coaching, with a strong focus on enhancing learner engagement and performance. Proficient in adapting instructional techniques and utilizing training software to deliver impactful education in commercial and technical environments.
