Position Title:Translator - Foreign Language
Department: Early Learning
Location: antkwak Early Learning Center - Hillsboro (home base). Will also support homes and pre-schools in Washington County
Reports To: Coordinator - Early Learning
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Bargaining Unit: Classified, OSEA
Compensation: Classified Salary Schedule - Range O ($27.49 - 32.86 per hour, DOE)
Workdays: 190 days per year

General Description:
In alignment with the NWRESD's mission statement, this position provides exact interpretation between the staff and the non-English speaking community (children and adults/parents) in school-related activities and meetings. The interpreter will also be called upon to provide exact written translations of documents.

• Must have specialized training in foreign language translation or relevant work experience
• Proven competency in both written and oral language translation
• Valid Driver's License; available transportation and proof of auto insurance
