Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Maintain production equipment in a highly precise manufacturing environment.
- Perform preventative maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, and installations on a variety of vacuum, temperature control, and exhaust management systems.
- Maintain and replace equipment, tools, and supplies.
- Provide written documentation of repairs.
- Palletize/depalletize equipment and interface with customer.
- Travel regularly by car to different semiconductor fabs.
- Depalletize and preflight vacuum pumps for use by the customer.
- Work on gas and chemical abatement equipment, including scrubbers and burn abatement.
- Proficient in working around gas and chemical byproducts, piping, blowers and fluid pumps.
- Perform vacuum pump preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and remedy field equipment faults and errors.
- Deinstall failed pumps and install rebuilt pumps.
- Prepare vacuum pumps for shipment.
- Work with customer personnel to troubleshoot vacuum issues with chambers, fore lines and vacuum pumps.
- Troubleshoot electronic components, sensors, switches, control read outs, and PLCs.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on Gas Abatement Systems.
- Use proper PPE to work in the vicinity of hazardous materials.
- Collect, develop, and formalize information for proposals of all replacement and repair opportunities and forward to the Regional Field Service Manager.

Job location:
