The Junior Electronics Technician supports the assembly, modification, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies used in Parks Medical Electronics’ medical diagnostic devices. This role is ideal for an early-career technician looking to develop hands‑on skills working with analog and digital PCBs, RF circuits, and Doppler ultrasound electronics in a regulated medical device environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble, solder, modify, and rework analog and digital PCBs, including through hole and basic surface‑mount components
- Perform functional testing and basic debugging of PCBs and subassemblies under guidance from senior staff
- Use electronic test equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, signal generators) to verify circuit functionality
- Assist with prototype builds and low‑volume production runs
- Support testing of RF and Doppler ultrasound electronics, including signal integrity checks
- Identify straightforward component‑level failures and assist with repairs
- Follow documented assembly, test, and repair procedures
- Adhere strictly to ESD handling and control procedures
- Accurately document builds, test results, and repairs per quality system requirements
- Maintain an organized, clean, and ESD‑safe work area
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to support daily operations
- Associate degree, technical certificate, or equivalent training in Electronics Technology or related field
- 02 years of electronics technician or hands‑on electronics experience (internship or lab experience acceptable)
- Basic understanding of analog and digital electronics
- Ability to read schematics and follow technical documentation
- Willingness to learn and take direction in a regulated environment
- Exposure to RF electronics, ultrasound, or medical devices
- Basic soldering and rework experience (through hole and SMT)
- Familiarity with EMI/EMC and ESD concepts
- Experience working in a lab or manufacturing environment
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality
- Eager to learn and develop troubleshooting skills
- Reliable, organized, and safety‑mindful
