  • Lead process engineering activities for pharmaceutical and life sciences projects.
  • Review and develop engineering deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specifications, process calculations, and design documentation.
  • Support equipment selection, vendor coordination, and technical evaluations.
  • Participate in process risk assessments, HAZOP reviews, and safety evaluations.
  • Provide technical oversight during project execution, installation, startup, and commissioning activities.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including operations, quality, validation, and engineering.
  • Ensure process designs meet applicable regulatory, safety, and operational requirements.
  • Assist with troubleshooting, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • 10+ years of process engineering experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, API, or regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of process design principles and engineering documentation.
  • Experience with equipment sizing, process calculations, and manufacturing systems.
  • Familiarity with containment strategies, process safety, and risk management practices.
  • Proven experience supporting capital projects from design through commissioning.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with oral solid dosage (OSD) manufacturing or powder handling processes.
  • Knowledge of CIP/SIP systems and cleanroom environments.
  • Experience with CQV (Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation) activities.
  • Familiarity with MES, SCADA, or manufacturing automation systems.
  • Exposure to API manufacturing, containment engineering, or spray drying technologies.
