Currently we are hiring a Commissioning Engineer to join our team in Oregon
Duties and Responsibilities:- Oversee and execute commissioning activities for mechanical and electrical systems.
- Develop and implement commissioning plans and procedures.
- Coordinate system start-up, testing, and troubleshooting with subcontractors and vendors.
- Review and verify equipment installations and performance against design specifications.
- Maintain documentation, including test scripts, reports, and system turnover packages.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards.
- Collaborate closely with project teams, QA/QC, and client representatives to meet project milestones.
- You have authority to stop the job if you feel there is an unsafe work practice which could result in a risk of injury, have an environmental impact or risk to equipment and other personnel.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of commissioning experience in mission-critical environments or data centers.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems including HVAC, power, BMS, and life safety systems.
- Familiarity with commissioning standards and documentation (e.g., Level 1-5 testing, IST).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and control schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and coordination skills.
- Proficient in commissioning software, MS Office, and reporting tools.
