Actuarial Associate III – IA

We are looking for a talented actuary to join the Individual Annuities team. The role is responsible for planning and projection. As a partner to senior actuaries, financial professionals, and executives, the successful individual must understand the big picture and present results to senior leaders relating to the models, evaluating trends, and the confidence to question results. This position reports to the Senior Director of the Individual Annuity team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planning and Projection:
    Develop and maintain planning models and tools. Collaborate with pricing, valuation, finance, sales, and other functional areas to develop annual business plan and other projection analysis to help monitor business performance.
  • Data Analysis/Information Systems:
    Extract, analyze and prepare data for use in actuarial analysis. Analyze, interpret, and present numerical data related to pricing and other actuarial analysis.

    Communicate and collaborate with various departments across the organization to meet business needs. Use data and analysis to provide strategic guidance in influencing management decision making.
  • Customer Focus:
    Anticipate customer needs and take initiative to address business challenges. Determine appropriate methods and procedures for new assignments and seek guidance when needed.
Education & Qualifications
  • • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, actuarial science, business, or a related field.
  • • ASA Certification (required).
  • • Minimum 5 years of hands‑on actuarial experience.
  • • Individual Annuity or other annuity products experience highly preferred.
  • • Proficient in MS Office and familiarity with actuarial tools and systems.
  • • US Statutory and US GAAP experience preferred.
  • • Power

    BI, Python, SQL, and GGY AXIS experience preferred.
