We’re seeking a detail‑oriented Wildfire Loan Processor & Servicing Specialist who is excited to play a meaningful role in wildfire recovery and affordable home ownership. In this position, you’ll help bring critical lending programs to life through accurate loan processing, funding coordination, servicing, and compliance management.
You’ll support DevNW’s wildfire recovery lending, down payment assistance, and Amplify mortgage programs while working closely with the Wildfire Program Manager, lending staff, underwriting, and finance teams. This is an opportunity to contribute to mission‑driven programs that expand access to stable housing and long‑term financial wellbeing.
This is a limited duration position currently funded for two years.
What You’ll Do- Process and service residential mortgage and silent second loans.
- Enter, update, and maintain accurate loan data in Neighborly, Zenly, Calyx, and Down Home Loan Manager.
- Review loan files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Coordinate funding activities and maintain complete loan documentation.
- Track escrow balances, payment histories, payoffs, and other servicing records.
- Research and resolve discrepancies in loan data and servicing files.
- Support audits, quality control reviews, and compliance activities.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical loan files.
- Collaborate with internal teams on loan status updates and servicing needs.
- Demonstrated experience reviewing residential mortgage documentation, including income, assets, credit, and collateral.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and data management skills.
- Knowledge of mortgage lending terminology and servicing workflows.
- Two or more years of mortgage loan processing and/or servicing experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Zenly, Calyx, and loan servicing systems preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage repetitive tasks consistently and meet deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
- Associate degree or related coursework in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM, with occasional Fridays as needed.
- Remote/Hybrid work flexibility.
