Salary Range: $65,000.00 To $90,000.00 Annually
Loan Servicing Supervisor/Officer
GeneralManage the Loan Servicing Department and related services of the bank. Develop and oversee procedures and functions of the department. Ensure that all servicing and processing procedures are completed accurately and with full compliance of federal and state regulations and adherence to bank policy. Work closely with the Chief Credit Officer, Loan Officers, Loan Assistants and processing staff to coordinate department efficiency.
Knowledge,skills and abilities
- Broad level of work experience, knowledge and training in loan documentation and all loan servicing activities and terminology
- Ability to communicate with loan officers, staff, customers, realtors, title companies and others to respond to inquiries, resolve problems and obtain additional documents needed to complete files
- Demonstrated understanding of loan documentation procedures and the legal and regulatory requirements for commercial and consumer loans
- Working knowledge of Laser Pro loan document preparation and administration of the program
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to self-manage time and workflow to meet deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time and to work independently, as well as within a team environment.
- A minimum of five years in bank loan document production
- Two to five years supervisory experience
- Knowledge and experience with development and maintenance of lending policies
- Knowledge and experience in completing bank evaluations on real estate collateral and proficiency in reviewing appraisals for accuracy, completeness and reasonableness of value. In-depth understanding of Interagency Appraisal and Evaluation Guidelines, USPAP (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice), and FIRREA a plus.
- Ability to perform appraisal management and coordination with third-party appraisers and appraisal management company in obtaining appraisal bids and engagement of appraisers a plus.
Direct and organize work of loan servicing staff to provide timely service to Loan Officers and the Bank’s clients. Minimize losses by ensuring that the department adheres to all operating guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all functions of the loan servicing department are completed in an accurate and timely manner
- Staff supervision, training and development
- Daily production duties including backup of all loan servicing personnel
- Ability to identify and resolve problems and interpret data

- Possess working knowledge of all phases of the job. Remains up to date on changes and trends in technological knowledge
- Possess working knowledge of all required regulations in loan operations
- Competency in general mathematical and analytical skills required.
- Knowledge of banking industry, loan products and services and banking regulations as it relates to lending.
- Working knowledge of computer technology, industry software and data processing systems.
- Demonstrate ability to make sound decisions and business judgement regarding loan servicing requests
