Job DescriptionAssist with the supervision and implementation of the Cultural Resources Department, through compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (as amended), State of Oregon cultural resource laws, and other pertinent laws and statutes. Duties will include (but are not limited to): review and compliance for undertakings within the CTWSRTO areas of interest; design and execution of cultural resource identification, evaluation, and protection efforts within tribal holdings;
engagement and consultation with agency personnel, tribal representatives, and other interest and stakeholders.
Master's degree in Anthropology or related field. Knowledge of tribes/treaty rights and Federal, State, and local laws and regulations for the protection and enhancement of cultural resources. Excellent communication skills (written and oral). Knowledge of respect for Tribal traditions, values and techniques.
