Behavior Technician; BT

Little Moments Behavioral Health is a private BCBA, Autistic led practive that values individualized, comprehensive care for each family. We are building a culture where clinical quality, ethical practice, collaboration, and sustainable caseloads come first.

We are currently hiring In Home, Part-Time Behavior Technicians (BTs) in NW Oregon .

Our behaviour technicians work one-on-one to implement behavior intervention plans under a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with their clients in home or in the community. We teach communication, social, and coping skills while working to reduce interfering behaviors such as aggression, self-injury, or property destruction.

• We focus on developing small BCBA caseloads with 10%-20% supervision per case as our standard. For comparison, the state standard is 5%!
• With greater supervision, you'll have lots of support from your BCBA!

• Safety Care for All: Every clinician from our BTs to BCBA receives safety-care training during onboarding and quarterly refreshers, regardless of case assignment. We do not wait until a case needs it so that you're always prepared when interfering behaviors arise.
• BLS: We have a private Red Cross instructor to provide initial or renewal certificates at no charge to the team.
• Intentional Transitions: We believe in thoughtful case transitions with case open meetings with the family and clinical team before you are assigned to a permanent case.

• We provide services from 9am-6pm Monday-Friday. Most school aged clients receive ABA between 3-6pm.
• Sessions are only scheduled on weekends if clinically appropriate and appropriate support is available for make up sessions.
• Senior Behavior Technicians: We have senior behavior technician positions for BTs interested in helping train new techncians or assist in other responsabilities outside of the BT role.
• Student Analysts: We have a career pathway for select, eligible student analysis ts pursuing fieldwork hours with paid fieldwork opportunities outside of their direct client care hours.

• PDU units for RBT certification included in regular trainings

• 18+ years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain BLS certification, Safety Care Certification, RBT certification, and RBAI registration within 90 days. (we provide BLS and Safety Care in house, and provide reimbursement for your RBT and RBAI!)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Transportation:
  Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between client and business sites.
• Physical Ability:
  This job requires extensive standing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, and crouching. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Must have the ability to communicate clearly and participate in physical and play-based therapies.
