The
Clinical Supervisor
Oversees clinical and administrative supervisory aspects of program(s) under the oversight of the program director. Provides clinical services to clients.

Pay/Benefits:$71,217- $80,119 annual salary plus

Salary Placement Notice:
The posted salary range reflects the compensation potential for this role. Most candidates will be placed between the entry level and midpoint of the range, depending on their experience and qualifications. However, more seasoned professionals with extensive exact or similar experience may be considered for placement toward the higher end of the range. Final salary offers are made in alignment with internal compensation processes in accordance with Oregon Pay Equity laws.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides regular supervision to each clinician in the program. Maintains accurate and timely documentation of individual and group supervisory meetings held at least two times per month for at least one hour per meeting.
  • Provides assistance to direct reports with work issues including establishing clear expectations regarding performance and training.
  • Provides support and attention to employee successes and addresses performance issues promptly and effectively.
  • Responsible for performance evaluations and performance concerns for program area under the oversight of the program director.
  • Supports the program director in the hiring process. Provides orientation and training for program to new staff.
  • Monitors employee productivity, documentation and insurance authorizations.
  • Provides crisis consultation and intervention for program area as needed.
  • Participates in program development under oversight of the program director.
  • Provides training to community partners, agency staff and others.
  • Provides direct service including facilitation of group and individual sessions, client evaluations and case management.
  • Documents and maintains client records to ensure compliance with agency and contract guidelines and confidentiality.
  • Completes required program reports including those needed for supervisory responsibilities timely and accurately.
  • Facilitates team meetings as needed.
  • Supports the program director in completing program required reports.
  • Supports the program director with hiring of new staff.
  • Supports the team to adhere to the fidelity/contract and clinical model of the program.
  • Meets standards for documentation and work accuracy as defined in the Performance Evaluation for self and supervises including timely completion of progress notes, assessments, treatment plans and authorization requests.
  • Meets standards as defined in the Performance Evaluation for direct service including accountability for supervises, implements and ensures adherence of the clinical model and/or evidence based practices and quality of clinical practice for self and supervises.
  • Meets expectations for being an effective supervisor and team member.
  • May be contacted after hours in order to provide the best possible care to our clients who need support for unanticipated acute/emergent needs.
  • May network with community providers and partners.
  • Required to travel between sites or in the community and/or transport clients.
  • Attends informational, clinical and management meetings which may include all-agency, team and consultation meetings, staffing, intra-agency trainings, etc.
  • May represent Life Works NW at community meetings.
  • Check e-mail/voice mail daily when working.
  • Continually increases level of cultural sensitivity, awareness and responsiveness. Actively participates in a minimum of four hours training related to cultural effectiveness in working with diverse populations.
