** Shift Details:*
* + 8a-430p Mon-Fri; no weekends or holidays
** Medical Assistant
Duties & Responsibilities:
*
* + Obtains and documents patient vital signs and reports abnormal findings to the RN or provider.
+ Rooms patients, manages patient flow, and supports efficient clinic operations.
+ Administers vaccines and IM/SubQ medications as ordered.
+ Performs point-of-care testing, specimen collection, and phlebotomy.
+ Assists physicians, PAs, and NPs with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
+ Prepares exam rooms and instruments for examinations and minor procedures.
+ Performs wound care, dressing changes, ear lavages, ECGs, peak flow testing, and other ordered procedures.
+ Accurately documents patient care, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record.

* Minimum Qualifications:
*
* + Current license as an RN in the state of WI
+ High School diploma or equivalent
+ American Heart Association BLS, for Health Care Providers
+ Certified Medical Assistant through American Associate of Medical Assistants (AAMA) if required by client. If CMA is required by client , verification will be completed through AAMA.
+ Minimum of one (1) year related work experience within the last 3 years
+ Additional certifications may be required.
+ Copy of current, completed
Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
+ Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
