About the Role
CV Resources is partnering with a highly respected manufacturing organization to identify a Payroll Analyst to support a complex, multi-entity payroll environment. This role is ideal for someone early-to-mid career in payroll who wants strong exposure to audits, compliance, systems, and leadership-ready responsibilities.
You’ll serve as a key payroll resource, partnering closely with Payroll, HR, and site leadership to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing while helping improve and standardize processes across multiple locations.
Responsibilities- Audit and review all aspects of bi-weekly payroll prior to submission to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Own payroll quality control and data integrity
, including timekeeping, earnings, deductions, and tax validation - Develop payroll reports and audits to support SOX compliance and internal/external reviews
- Create and enhance payroll reporting tools for data validation and reconciliation
- Review and validate HR data changes (new hires, terminations, transfers, status changes) prior to payroll processing
- Support cross-training initiatives to ensure payroll coverage and continuity
- Partner with HR to interpret and apply payroll-related policies and procedures
- Identify and implement payroll process improvement opportunities
- Support payroll staff across multiple sites and locations
- Monitor and communicate statutory and regulatory payroll changes across multiple jurisdictions
- Resolve employee payroll issues with a high level of customer service
- Support payroll system updates, enhancements, or implementations
- Perform manual payroll calculations (taxes, deductions, adjustments) as needed to validate system accuracy
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent payroll experience
- 3–4 years of payroll experience preferred
- Experience using ADP required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment
- Manufacturing, multi-entity, or multi-state payroll experience is a plus
- Strong Excel skills preferred
- Base Salary: Median – $85,000 annually
- Bonus: Performance-based bonus tied to operational results
