Robert Half is working with a well-respected company in the Madison area that is looking for an experienced HR Payroll Coordinator to join our team in Oregon, Wisconsin. Responsibilities:

- Process payroll with a high degree of accuracy, ensuring all employees are paid correctly and on schedule.

- Maintain and update payroll records, including garnishments, deductions, and approved timesheets.

- Utilize HRIS and payroll systems, such as Workday, to manage payroll data effectively.

- Ensure compliance with multi-state payroll regulations and company policies.

- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.

- Monitor and enforce adherence to payroll deadlines and procedures.

- Conduct audits to verify payroll accuracy and compliance with legal standards.

- Provide guidance on payroll processes and support employees with payroll-related concerns.

- Prepare reports and documentation for internal use and external audits.

- Stay informed about changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Requirements

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing and HR administration.

- Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field required

- Proficiency in HRIS platforms, particularly Workday or similar systems.

- Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and compliance requirements.

- Experience handling payroll garnishments, deductions, and approved timesheets.

- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

- Familiarity with payroll reporting and audit preparation.
