People and Culture Partner, Senior
People and Culture Partner, Senior --------------------------------------------------------------- This position is responsible for effectively aligning business objectives with management and employees in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the People and Culture function to deliver advanced value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The position maintains a level of literacy about the business unit's needs, goals, competition, and culture.
Estimated Hiring Range: $ - $ Bonus Target:
Bonus - SIP Target, 5% Annual Current Care Oregon Employees:
- Conducts or attends regularly scheduled meetings with respective business units.
- Consults with line management and provides advanced employment guidance for multiple business groups.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with HR specialist groups; actively participates in developing solutions, programs, and policies.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues independently; conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Maintains expert knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance; obtains guidance from Legal partners as needed/required.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Serves as an advanced resource for People and Culture policy guidance and interpretation.
- Interprets job needs; guides leaders on position descriptions, approval, and evaluation process.
- Coaches managers on recruiting, hiring, promotions, and onboarding.
- Provides guidance and leadership on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
- Identifies training needs for business units and individual and executive coaching needs.
- Facilitates and participates or leads in the development of leadership training.
- Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success; follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
- Conducts stay and exit interviews; addresses trends and areas needing attention with HR specialist teams and managers.
- Minimum of 5 years’ HR experience, including multiple human resources disciplines and minimum 3 years’ experience resolving employee relations issues.
- Preferred HR experience in healthcare, managed care, or social services.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential.

- Knowledge Excellent understanding of multiple human resource disciplines, including organizational development, learning, employee relations, performance management and compensation practices.
- Strong understanding of employment laws relating to the organization.

- Ability to effectively coach all levels of leaders and employees in a variety of situations.
- Strong ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
- Highly skilled in learning and adapting to organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups.
- Ability to learn, focus, understand, and evaluate information and determine appropriate actions.
