AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.

You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.

AWS is looking for a Network Deploy Technician to join our growing team within infrastructure operations. You will work with minimum supervision in a dynamic environment to drive the stability and sustainability of our next‑generation networks and assist in the development of innovative ways to automate and scale our network.

• Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords
• Specifying power and cooling requirements and ensuring hardware racking/stacking completed for new equipment
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware
• Traveling within and outside of regional work area; responsible for reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds
• Work in an environment that operates 24/7 with ability to participate in primary responder rotation and after‑hours support as needed
• Work in cramped, elevated, or noisy environments
• Bending, lifting, stretching, reaching, standing, and walking for up to 8+ hours a day
• Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation

• 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
• 1+ year of computer networking experience
• High school or equivalent diploma

• Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure

Starting pay for this position: $27.00 - $48.00 USD hourly (USA, OR, Boardman). Final starting pay will be based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
