Job Summary
As a Customer Success Engineer (CSE) at Palo Alto Networks, you will strategically drive customer success by providing advanced technical expertise and leadership. You will work closely with CISOs, CTOs, and other technical teams from leading organizations to ensure successful deployment, adoption, and optimization of SASE solutions such as Prisma Access, ADEM, and CASB.
Your Impact- Provide advanced product-level expertise, leading complex deployments and resolving intricate technical challenges.
- Serve as the go‑to expert for SASE products, guiding customers through sophisticated integrations and customizations.
- Communicate new features and best practices to ensure customers fully leverage Palo Alto Networks solutions.
- Lead product adoption efforts, conduct training sessions, and workshops tailored to customer needs.
- Assess and address gaps in deployment; translate findings into strategic action plans.
- Act as a strategic advisor to stakeholders, including C‑suite executives.
- Manage complex engagements, collaborate with account teams on high‑touch delivery strategies.
- Lead customer escalations, coordinating internal teams for timely resolution.
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in network security, cloud infrastructure, and related technologies.
- Advanced knowledge of SASE, SD‑WAN, NGFW, ADEM, BGP, and routing protocols.
- Proven track record in driving product adoption and delivering advanced training programs.
- Ability to translate technical requirements into actionable plans and guide customers through advanced use cases.
- Strong consultative and relationship‑building skills with executive‑level stakeholders.
- Advanced understanding of TCP/IP, SSL, IPSec, PKI, and troubleshooting tools such as tcpdump and Wireshark.
- 4+ years designing, deploying, and managing large enterprise networks.
- Experience with NoC and SoC day‑to‑day operations and securing network infrastructure.
- Knowledge of BGP, NGFW, SSL/IPSec VPNs, and routing protocol troubleshooting.
- Experience with security technologies: sandboxing, firewalls, DLP, VPNs.
- Understanding of the security life cycle, attack life cycle, and use of security products.
- Experience with SD‑WAN, CASB, or cloud/SaaS products; certifications such as PCNSE, CCNP, CCSP, or CISSP are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of public‑cloud networking, virtualization, and API/automation tools.
Base salary range: $142,000 to $230,000 per year plus benefits. Compensation may include restricted stock units and a bonus.
