We are seeking a Data Scientist to partner with business leaders, analysts, and data engineers to solve complex business problems through predictive modeling and advanced analytics. This role focuses on translating data into actionable insights, balancing strong technical expertise with the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, challenges, and data requirements
  • Translate business problems into analytical and predictive modeling solutions
  • Design, build, evaluate, and refine predictive and statistical models
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis, experimentation, and research
  • Interpret model results and communicate insights, assumptions, and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with data engineers to utilize existing datasets for modeling and analysis
  • Support proof-of-concepts, pilots, and production analytics solutions
  • Assist with user acceptance testing and validation of model outputs
  • Document models, methodologies, and analytics processes
  • Educate business users on analytics outputs through training, demos, or documentation
  • Deliver insights that drive business decisions and operational improvements
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist or a strong analytical background transitioning into data science
  • Proficiency in Python for modeling, analysis, and scripting
  • Strong SQL skills for data querying and exploration
  • Experience with predictive and statistical modeling techniques
  • Ability to evaluate model performance and interpret results
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Experience working in business or operational environments
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare or life sciences domains
  • Familiarity with analytics frameworks such as CRISP-DM
  • Experience with Dataiku
  • Experience in consulting or change management environments
