Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager | 2.5 year minimum contract | Oregon
SummaryBlackfield Associates are currently supporting one of our key biopharmaceutical manufacturing partners in their search for a Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager to support a major greenfield manufacturing investment program in Oregon.
This is a site-based, long-term contract assignment offering the opportunity to lead the delivery of critical IT and OT infrastructure across a large-scale capital project. The position is focused on end-to-end project management, stakeholder engagement, and the successful delivery of complex infrastructure solutions within highly regulated pharmaceutical environments.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of IT and OT infrastructure throughout the full project lifecycle, from design and implementation through to commissioning and handover.
- Manage project scope, budget, timelines, milestones, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, QC, Logistics, and external vendors, to ensure infrastructure is delivered in line with project requirements.
- Ensure all IT infrastructure is implemented in compliance with internal IT security, quality standards, and GMP/FDA regulatory requirements.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while providing clear communication and regular reporting to senior stakeholders and steering committees.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale IT infrastructure projects, ideally within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
- Strong technical understanding of enterprise infrastructure, including networking (LAN/WAN, WiFi, switching), servers, cybersecurity, and data centre integration.
- Experience managing brownfield infrastructure integration projects and working across complex, multi-disciplinary capital programmes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage technical teams and senior leadership.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
