What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Schedule and complete premium audits with policyholder contacts to determine accurate premiums for adjustable lines of insurance
  • Prepare detailed reports of audit findings to assist underwriting with risk assessment and discussions on insurance fraud
  • Ensure audits meet departmental production, quality, and timeliness standards
  • Serve as a technical resource to internal and external stakeholders, including agents and policyholders
  • Review and resolve audit disputes while communicating resolutions among various stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, insurance, or a related business field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Strong math and accounting aptitude with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the property and casualty insurance industry and applicable Workers’ Compensation regulations preferred
  • Excellent customer service and strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Previous experience in auditing or related insurance functions
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices
  • Proven analytical and problem‑solving skills related to audit issues
  • Comfort with virtual communication tools for conducting audits
