About this role
Onity is actively recruiting for a Supplier Performance Specialist who will report to the Supply Chain and Operational Manager.
The Supplier Performance Specialist will manage the performance of vendors, suppliers, and contract manufacturers; act as the Account Manager for key vendors, suppliers, or contract manufacturers; establish contracts and agreements in support of business supply chain continuity; negotiate pricing and deliver cost savings/reduction year-over-year; monitor and manage all consignment equipment/tooling/inventory; and audit vendors, suppliers, or contract manufacturers per an agreed routine cadence.

Key Responsibilities- Manage, use, or establish proper vendor management processes to onboard, nurture, and support vendor relationships, cost controls, manage risks and maximize service efficiency
- Facilitate a collaborative relationship and coordinate with all key stakeholders internal and external to identify, address, and resolve problems or operational inefficiencies in conjunction with the supplier quality engineer
- Serve as point of contact with vendors, suppliers, and contract manufacturers, providing the proper information, guidance, and support to manage and resolve issues collaboratively as per the terms of contracts and agreements
- Create contracts, negotiate pricing, prepare RFQ’s, and monitor “contract manufacturing overall performance” in terms of quality, delivery, cost, inventory, consignment equipment, and tooling management
- Conduct required routine audits of processes and facilities and prepare contract manufacturing performance reports
- Associate's degree
- 5 years plus of experience in vendor and/or contract manufacturing management
- Travel international and local up to 50% of the time
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or business
- Master's degree
- Project Management skills
- Strong English Communication and Presentations Skills (written and verbal)
- Lean Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing Expertise
- Managing of Contract Manufacturing
- Contract Generation/RFQ Process
